Wallis Photo LLC is in fact Jason Wallis (with an "is" not "ace" at the end). I have lived in the OC for the last 10 years and shoot for a lot of magazines (Orange Coast, Damsel, Blisss) and advertising clients (Juxt Agency, HP, Qualcomm and Cisco).

Yes I photograph real people also and even do weddings (shock! horror!) and families. We are in a recession after all and this is not NYC. No one can just do fashion here. Weddings and families pay the mortgage and allow me to do the more creative shoots.

Yes, some of the models really do "look like that"... most don't (Photoshop). Does my wife get upset? No we have been together a long time.

No I am not from Australia -and don't worry, that doesn't offend me... I am from New Zealand. Why would I leave "such a beautiful place"? California is the land of opportunity and I love the weather and access to the surf!

Licensing and stock photography

Bored of cheesy, stale, unoriginal and unimpressive stock photos from the big web sites?

Don't want the expense and time of an entire photo shoot when you only need one or two images for your web site or advertising?

I have a large collection of fashion images that can be licensed (including out takes from fashion editorial shoots) for your business and magazine providing an equitable agreement can be reached with the model agency and myself. After that you will have a model release and photography release to use the photos.

Licensing fees depend on usage. Photographs are the intellectual property of the creator (for more information click here). Much like software or a book, you can purchase the use, but the creator still owns the material. I own the rights to my photographs, but I can write a license that will let you do whatever you need to do. My price will reflect the value of that license.

I also have out takes and other stock images available for licensing on request

In 2009 I will be launching a stock web site.
