Wallis Photo LLC is Jason Wallis (with an "is" not "ace" at the end). I have lived in the OC for the last 10 years and shoot for a lot of magazines and advertising clients.

Yes I photograph real people also and even do weddings (shock! horror!) and families. We are in a recession after all and this is not NYC. No one can just do fashion here.

Yes, some of the models really do "look like that"... most don't (Photoshop). Does my wife get upset? No we have been together a long time.

No I am not from Australia -and don't worry, that doesn't offend me... I am from New Zealand. Why would I leave "such a beautiful place"? California is the land of opportunity and I love the weather and access to the surf!

My Photography Workflow:

The digital services I provide are value based. Please call me or email me to discuss your requirements and the associated pricing.

The question I always ask is: HOW can this be photographed in an original way that best promotes what is special about you or your company?

I specialize in photographing and turning around jobs FAST without any loss in quality. I am an expert in lighting and digital. I will put up a web gallery for you and email you your retouched picks all within 24 hours

For the technical minded: I always shoot digitally in Raw mode (the absolute best quality) and then convert the photos to either user-friendly Jpegs or Tiffs (depending on your requirements).

I will also send you a high resolution disc containing all the images (for backup). I store the photos on my harddrive for 1 month.

Licensing and stock photography

Bored of cheesy, stale, unoriginal and unimpressive stock photos from the big websites?

Don't want the expense and time of an entire photoshoot when you only need one or two images for your website or advertising?

I have a large collection of fashion images that can be licensed (including outtakes from fashion editorial shoots) for your business and magazine providing an equitable agreement can be reached with the model agency and myself. After that you will have a model release and photography release to use the photos.

Licensing fees depend on usage. Photographs are the intellectual property of the creator (for more information click here). Much like software or a book, you can purchase the use, but the creator still owns the material. I own the rights to my photographs, but I can write a license that will let you do whatever you need to do. My price will reflect the value of that license.

I also have outtakes and other stock images available for licensing on request
